I watched the first episode last week and I think it has potential. My hope is that it picks up speed and attacks some of the well-known claims out there. The video intro to the program features video of Bigfoot. Although the footage has been examined before, I hope they take a closer look at this. I’d love to see some real effort to debunking it take place.
I also watched Mary Knows Best and found it rather entertaining. To be honest, I didn’t think I would like it, as I’m not much into reality shows (other than Ghost Hunter’s Academy, that is). But, I actually kinda enjoyed it. Even the hubby who detests reality shows, and tends to be a bit of skeptic when it comes to the paranormal, got a few laughs from the show.
Ghost Hunter’s International was a bit of a disappointment last night. I’m not sure what it is, but it always leaves me a bit uncomfortable and I’ll ask again, “Whats with the filming?” Do they use poor equipment? Do they do it on purpose? If they catch a ghost–I want to see it!
And.. what happened to the Ghost Hunter Academy Cadets that earned a position on Ghost Hunter’s International? They were on the first episode, but silently absent from the second. I was under the impression they were going to be new members of the team.
I do wish SyFy would realize that many of us actually like to watch the investigating and aren’t simply interested in seeing what they bring to the reveal.
Well, time to get ready for paranormal night on SyFy. Check back tomorrow for my take on the shows that air tonight.
